Mrs.

Owner/Director/TEACHER

Hi, I’m Mrs. Erika!
I’m the proud wife to my husband, Austin, and mama to our sweet boy, Grayson. Dance has been a part of my heart for as long as I can remember—I danced competitively for over 15 years and was a Lumberton Raiderette for 4 years, serving as Lieutenant for 3 of them.
For the past 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching dance, and I’m truly honored to have been voted Best Dance Teacher in Southeast Texas in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Outside of the studio, I serve at my church as a Worship Singer and Kids Ministry Director, which brings me so much joy.
At Impact, I value the relationships I get to build with my dancers and staff more than anything. My heart is to create a space where everyone feels loved, valued, and encouraged to walk in their God-given purpose.
Thank you for choosing to be part of Impact—I’m so grateful you’re here, and I can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together!

Hi, I'm Miss Rain!
I am 22 years old and currently attending Lamar University as a graduate student. I graduated in December 2024 with honors, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting, and I am now continuing my education, pursuing my Master’s of Science in Accounting.
While I enjoy the marketing side of things and love all aspects of business, dance truly has my heart! I began dancing at the age of 2 and have danced for 16 years. I have been teaching for 4 years, and I am extremely excited to continue my teaching journey, sharing my passion for dance with the Impact family.
I look forward to another year of inspiring and being inspired by our incredible community at Impact Dance Company!

Hi, I’m Miss Kennady!
I’m 18 years old and a proud graduate of Lamar State College Orange, where I earned my Associate’s Degree in Business and a Certificate in General Studies in May of 2025. I'm now continuing my education at Lamar University with the goal of becoming a Physical Therapist.
I started dancing when I was just two years old and danced competitively for 11 years. This will be my second year teaching at Impact Dance Company, and I’ve had the joy of assisting in classes for several years as well. Being on stage with the bright lights and sparkly costumes has always been exciting, but my favorite part of dance is using it as a way to worship—whether in the classroom or on stage. I’m so excited for another amazing year of sharing my love for dance and helping my students grow with confidence, joy, and purpose!

Lindsay Grande

Hi, I'm Mrs. Lindsay!
I was born and raised in Southeast Texas and hold a double bachelor’s degree in Dance and Theatre from Lamar University. I began my dance training at just three years old and have now been teaching for 29 years. Growing up, I competed with my local studio and traveled to conventions and workshops where I was honored to receive numerous awards and scholarships, including from LA Danceforce, Tremaine, Co. Dance, and Dance Olympus VIP, to name a few. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of training under incredible instructors such as Doug Caldwell, Mia Michaels, and Joe Tremaine. My professional career has taken me across the U.S., dancing and teaching for companies like Paramount Pictures (Travel), Smash Productions (Las Vegas), Planet Funk (Houston), National Dance Alliance, and The Streetz Tour. I also train and compete in ballroom dance and continue to expand my knowledge in various styles. In addition, I hold certifications in Progressive Ballet and Progressive Contemporary Techniques. Choreography has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve created works for dancers, companies, and theatrical productions across the southern region. Over the years, I’ve taught at many studios throughout SETX and SWLA, leading weekly classes, intensives, and workshops. More than anything, I love mentoring dancers one-on-one and helping them discover their confidence, artistry, and goals. Currently, I serve as the artistic director and creator of Waves The Movement Project. My greatest hope is to pass along my love for the arts to my students and give them the encouragement they need to become the best versions of themselves—both inside and outside the studio.

Teacher/ASSISTANT

Hi, I'm Miss Emmy!
I am 15 years old and I just started my sophomore year of high school as well duel credit classes at Lamar Orange in hopes of one day becoming a crime scene investigator. I started taking dance classes at 3 and am starting my 9th year as a competitive dancer. I have been a class assistant for several years and I’m excited to now step into the role of being a teacher. In my spare time, I also take classes in Houston learning specifically the pom and sideline styles in hopes of dancing on a college dance team and possibly beyond. Outside of dance I enjoy running, especially Disney races, watching football, and reading. I’m so excited to teach this year and share my love of dance with my students!

Hi, I’m Miss Jayslynn!
I am 18 years old and a graduate of Lumberton High School. I have been dancing since I was 7 and have competitively danced since I was 8. Along with studio dance, I also enjoyed dancing with my drill team. I was a four year member of the Lumberton High School Raiderettes, where I served as Sergeant my Junior year and Lieutenant my Senior year! My drive for dancing is still growing as I now get to teach students and share my passion for dancing with them. I am beyond excited for what this year has to bring and cannot wait to continue to make an impact through my teaching journey!

Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Brenna!
I am 20 years old and currently attend Lamar University. I am pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. I started gymnastics when I was 2 years old. I was a competitive gymnast until I was 14 when I switched to competitive cheer. Gymnastics and cheer competitions have taken me all over the country and taught me so much about hard work and pursuing your passions. I knew at a very young age that coaching was something that I was meant to do. I started helping coach younger gymnasts at age 10 and officially started coaching tumble and cheer at 15. I believe that tumbling is a skill that is good for children to learn if they want to be a dancer, another type of athlete, or just want to move and gain motor skills. I love to work with children, and I am excited to share my tumbling knowledge with the students at Impact Dance Company.
