Hi! I'm Mrs. Erika!
Welcome to my second home! I am 25 years old, living out my lifelong dream with my best friends. My husband, Austin, and I have a precious baby boy named Grayson, who is my whole world. I was born and raised in Lumberton, TX, where I danced competitively for over 15 years and was a proud member of the Lumberton Raiderettes for 4 years, serving as a Lieutenant for 3 of those years. With 7 years of teaching experience, I am honored to have been voted Best Dance Teacher in Hardin County for both 2021 and 2022. Outside of dance, I am dedicated to serving at my church as a Worship Leader and Kids Ministry Leader. At Impact Dance Company, I deeply value my relationships with my students and staff, and I strive to ensure that everyone feels seen, heard, and worthy. Thank you for being a part of our dance family. Let's make an impact together!
Hi, I'm Miss Rain!
I am 21 years old and currently attending Lamar University, where I will be graduating in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. While I enjoy the marketing side of things and love all aspects of business, dance truly has my heart! I began dancing at the age of 2 and have danced for 16 years, training both pre-professionally and competitively during my high school years. I have 3 years of teaching experience, and I am extremely excited to continue my teaching journey, sharing my passion for dance with the Impact family. I look forward to inspiring and being inspired by our incredible community at Impact Dance Company!
Hi, I'm Miss Addi!
I am 16 years old, and currently a junior in highschool. I have been dancing since the age of two years old, and I started competing when I was eight. I have always had a love for dance since I was little, and I have also always had a love for teaching. From the moment I started assisting in classes at nine years old, I knew that I had a passion for it, and that I would love to turn teaching into my career in the future. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to get to teach at Impact Dance Company, and I can't wait to learn, and grow with each and every one of the young dancers, and share my passion with all of them. I am looking forward to an amazing year ahead!
Hi, I’m Miss Kennady!
I am 17 years old and this year I will be graduating high school as well as receiving my associate’s in Business from Lamar State College Orange. I plan to further my education at Lamar University in the hopes of becoming a Physical therapist. I started dancing at the age of two and I have been dancing competitively for 10 years now. I have also assisted in classes for several years and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to teach. I have always loved being on stage with the bright lights and the sparkly costumes but my favorite part has always been that I get to worship with my dancing whether I am in the classroom or competing on a stage. This year I look forward to sharing my love for dance, and making a positive impact on my students!
Hi, I’m Miss Jayslynn!
I am 17 years old and currently in my last year of high school. I have been dancing since I was 7 and have competitively danced since I was 8. Along with studio dance, I also enjoy dancing with my drill team. I am a four year member of the Lumberton High School Raiderettes and I am currently serving as Lieutenant! My drive for dancing is still growing as I now get to teach students how to have the same passion for dance that I do. I am beyond excited for what this year has to bring and cannot wait to make an impact others!
Hi, I'm Ms. Leyni!
With thirty-six years of experience in dance education, I am thrilled to bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to Impact Dance Company. While I have taught all genres, tap and clogging remain my greatest loves and I'm extremely excited to be a part of the tap program here. My dance background includes competing with national title holders during my youth and leading my own competition teams to numerous awards. Committed to lifelong learning, I am continuing to refine my skills through master classes and conventions.
Along with my studio dance career, I have dedicated 37 years to choreographing and performing for local theaters, including Port Arthur Little Theater, Lamar State College, Orange Community Players, and Beamont Community Players (now Southeast Texas Stages), contributing to a diverse array of productions including "Mary Poppins", "Bye Bye Birdie", "Grease", "Sister Act-The Musical", and dozens more.
Beyond the studio and stage, I am actively involved in my church, La Iglesia del Pueblo/Church of the People, where I serve on the worship team. My most cherished ministry, however, is raising my remarkable son, who, along with his wife, is now raising my incredibly cute grandson, Leonardo.
In my “spare” time, I run an art and t-shirt business, cuddle with my two dogs, spend time with friends and family, and love to travel.
I am thrilled to join the Impact Dance family and I look forward to bringing extensive experience and enthusiasm to my new role.
