Teacher/ASSISTANT

Hi, I'm Miss Brylie!
I am 16 years old and have been dancing for 14 and a half years. Throughout my dance journey, I have been fortunate to train with incredible mentors and artists who have helped shape me into the dancer I am today. For the past year, I have been training under Comfort Fedoke, Marty Kudelka, Blake McGrath, and Julius Anthony. I am currently a member of Heat Crew and Heat Force Convention Company Team, which have provided me with amazing opportunities to learn, perform, and connect with dancers from all over. This year is my first year teaching at Impact, and I couldn't be more excited! I look forward to sharing the knowledge, skills, and experiences I've gained throughout my training while helping my students build confidence, creativity, and a love for dance. I'm excited to grow alongside my students, inspire them to reach their goals, and create a positive environment where they can learn, have fun, and express themselves through movement.

Molli Perez

Hi I’m Miss Molli, I am currently pursuing my degree in Education at Lamar University with plans to become an elementary school teacher after graduating in two years. In addition to my studies, I work as a Patient Care Technician, where I enjoy caring for and supporting others. I have been dancing for 16 years and have loved every moment of it. I was a three-year member of my high school drill team and had the privilege of serving as an officer for two of those years. My experiences in dance have taught me leadership, dedication, and the importance of building confidence in others. I truly enjoy sharing my passion with each student. Seeing dancers learn new skills, express themselves, and grow both on and off the dance floor is incredibly rewarding. I am so excited for another amazing year at Impact and can’t wait to make many more memories with all of the dancers this season!

Lindsay Grande

Hi, I'm Mrs. Lindsay!
I was born and raised in Southeast Texas and hold a double bachelor’s degree in Dance and Theatre from Lamar University. I began my dance training at just three years old and have now been teaching for 30 years. Growing up, I competed with my local studio and traveled to conventions and workshops where I was honored to receive numerous awards and scholarships, including from LA Danceforce, Tremaine, Co. Dance, and Dance Olympus VIP, to name a few. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of training under incredible instructors such as Doug Caldwell, Mia Michaels, and Joe Tremaine. My professional career has taken me across the U.S., dancing and teaching for companies like Paramount Pictures (Travel), Smash Productions (Las Vegas), Planet Funk (Houston), National Dance Alliance, and The Streetz Tour. I also train and compete in ballroom dance and continue to expand my knowledge in various styles. In addition, I hold certifications in Progressive Ballet and Progressive Contemporary Techniques. Choreography has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve created works for dancers, companies, and theatrical productions across the southern region. Over the years, I’ve taught at many studios throughout SETX and SWLA, leading weekly classes, intensives, and workshops. More than anything, I love mentoring dancers one-on-one and helping them discover their confidence, artistry, and goals. Currently, I serve as the artistic director and creator of Waves The Movement Project. My greatest hope is to pass along my love for the arts to my students and give them the encouragement they need to become the best versions of themselves—both inside and outside the studio.

Erika

Mrs.

Owner/Director/TEACHER

Hi! I’m Mrs.Erika! Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I danced competitively for over 15 years. After graduating, I discovered that my true passion wasn’t just performing, it was investing in the next generation through teaching. With more than nine years of teaching experience, I founded Impact Dance Company with a vision of creating more than just a dance studio. I wanted to build a place where dancers feel safe, encouraged, challenged, and genuinely loved, a place that feels like home. As a follower of Jesus, my faith is at the center of everything I do. My prayer is that every dancer who walks through our doors leaves knowing their worth isn’t found in trophies, titles, or technique, but in who God created them to be. While we strive for excellence in dance, we care even more about developing confident, kind, hardworking young people who will make a positive impact wherever they go. I have been incredibly blessed to be voted Best Dance Teacher in Southeast Texas for 2021, 2022, and 2024. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll usually find me serving at church as the Kids Director or on the worship team, or spending time with my amazing husband, Austin, and our children. Thank you for trusting me and our team with your dancers. It is truly an honor to be part of their journey, and I can’t wait to have lots of fun this season!

I am 16 years old and I am going into my junior year of high school. At school I am currently taking dual credit classes through Lamar State College Orange for nursing to eventually pursue nursing and achieve my CRNA degree in the future. I danced on the Raiderette drill team for the first two years of high school and served as a sergeant my sophomore year. I have been taking dance classes since I was 3 years old and I have been a competitive dancer for 5 years and this year will be my 6th. There’s nothing I love more than spreading the gospel with my passion for dance. I am very excited to step into this teaching role and I can’t wait to see what the lord has in store for this year.

Hi, I’m Mrs. Dézja! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and have proudly called Southeast Texas home since earning my Bachelor of Social Work from Lamar University. I later earned my Masters in Social Work while continuing to pursue my passion for dance through teaching, choreography, and adjudication across Texas. With 25 years of dance training and 15 years of teaching and choreographing experience, dance has been the foundation of my career. I was a member of the Lamar University Dance Team for four years and now have the privilege of serving as the program’s Head Coach, where I am dedicated to developing technically strong, confident, and well-rounded student-athletes. I am also a company director and instructor at Studio D Dance Academy, as well as the founder of RIM Dance, a mentorship and intensive training program designed to cultivate emerging artists and provide dancers across Texas with opportunities to grow both technically and personally. Outside of dance, I recently married my husband, Jeremiah, and together we are proud pup parents to our dog, King. Whether I’m coaching, choreographing, mentoring, or teaching, my greatest passion is helping dancers discover their potential, build confidence, and leave every space stronger than they entered it.
